Chardonnay Doc Friuli

The grapes are lightly pressed, the must obtained is cleaned by gravity over one night and then starts the fermentation at a controlled temperature (18-20°C). Follows a long period aging in stainless steel tank.
Harvest: hand picking in small boxes.
Grapes conditions: perfectly mature at the picking time.
Picking Time: last week of August.
Grapes: this 100% Chardonnay is a blend of different clones of Chardonnay. Clones:130, 123, 76, 96. The blend of different clones allows to get a more complex wine.

Color: intense straw yellow.
Nose: warm and floral, cardoon, bread crust, buttery.
Taste: mature, lightly citrusy, ananas e banana. Sapid but large, delicate vanilla hints and butter.

Great white wine that can be paired with anything. Ideal with fish pasta, tuna tataki. Goes well also with poultry any style.
