The Tenuta Beltrame is located in the DOC Friuli production area, between Palmanova and Aquileia. This area is characterized by sandy and clay soils and a mild climate, influenced by the proximity of the sea.
The double Guyot pruning of the vines, the high number of clonal varieties and the nature of the soil allow us to obtain wines with a distinct typicality. The grapes of our vineyard, carefully picked by hand and subjected to careful vinification processes, are at the origin of the quality and elegance of our wines, which can be tasted also in the old guesthouse of the manor house.

The sandy-clay soils of the area are rich in mineral salts and organic substances that gives grapes with a distinct typicality, without using chemical fertilizers.
Strongly influenced by the proximity of the sea, the climate is characterized by hot summers and mild winters. The result is a slow maturation of the grapes with excellent concentrations and an extraordinary balance of aromas.
We are among the first in Friuli to practice the double Guyot pruning allowing the harmonious growth of the plant and an exceptional concentration of nutritive properties in the bunches.
Sun and water
Sun and water: this is the secret to making a balanced wine. The drainage system we use keep the soil in ideal humidity conditions even in dry periods or excessive rains.
We control every phase of production: from the care of the soil, to the vine and the vinification processes. This is how our wines are made, according to natural methods, without preservatives or additives that alter their taste.
The harvest is done by hand paying attention to picking the bunches and carefully storing in the crates, without crushing in order to not compromise their quality.
